What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, American Express, Discover, and MasterCard payments, and, of course, cash.
How long does the safari visit take?
Every visit will vary in length. It’s a 3 mile route traveling at about 3 mph. Visitors can stop along the way to feed the animals and take photos of the animals. Plus, visitors can do the route as many times as they’d like once inside the gates.
Will weather affect the outdoor activities?
Depending on the severity. If there is thunder and lightning, then safari activities will be postponed until the strong lightning and/or heavy winds are finished. Please give us a call if you have concerns.
Is the entire safari a drive-thru visit?
About 97% of the safari is in your vehicle. There is an area at the very end of the route where visitors can park their vehicles and get out to feed the giraffes.
Can I bring my dog on the safari?
Dogs are welcome to travel in vehicles during the safari. They must always be kept under complete control with no interaction with the animals.
ATVs are welcome as long as they have roofs and all four doors.
Admission to Shamba is only available the day of your visit at our ticket booth. No pre-purchases or reservations are accepted.
Once you enter our safari gates, you can do the route as many times as you’d like. But once you leave the park, you would have to purchase admission to reenter.
Yes, the park does have an ATM.
Yes, we do. We have a picnic area available under a pavilion. Pack a lunch! We also sell basic snack items. Soda, chips, etc.
We will name a few: Zebra, Giraffe, Rhino, Lion, Tiger, Camels, Wildebeest, Oryx, Rhea, Fallow Deer…and the Shambasaurus.
Yes. Come on in! Lots of cool animal and nature items.
Can I bring my own animal food for the animals to eat?
Outside food for the animals is prohibited.
Can we ride in the back of our pick up truck when we visit the safari?
Nope. All visitors must remain inside their vehicles. Vehicles that have a roof and all doors.
